I've always held a fascination for the big birds at the beaches - dating back to childhood hanging out on the docks at old Johns Pass... Pelicans and Egrets are 2 of my favorites! These were all captured this week along the beaches near St. Petersburg!
Gorgeous photos! I lived in Tampa for almost 46 years...38 of them in Seminole Heights! Same house! Love seeing your photos - because they remind me of what was once home.
Those are great pictures, Jerry. Pete sure let you get up close and personal. I take pictures of birds a lot but the ones that live around here aren't nearly as spectacular looking.
