Jerry, Duchess and I hurt for you folks. We have lost two of our three cats in the last three years.....one a 19 year old tabby....2nd a siamese-manx mix with diabetes, and other diseases who lived to 13 after we spent thousands to stabilize his diabetes....
The parting is so very, very miserable. The few times I cried in the past few years include parting from these two.
The memories will linger and help...those of the good times. Just remember you are healthier because you live with animals...they help in many ways.
