Christmas Day 2017

WOW - what an amazing Christmas day! Up early, walked Mickey and took another - #4 - ride on the Peloton! Did the scenic ride just to get things going - loved it! Gathered up all the presents for Charlie, Brook, Ava, Charlotte, Courtney, Ty and Chris and loaded them in the truck! 8 AM - time for Round 1 at Charlie's house! Our house is always a mad house at present time - the Major had everyone sit in chairs and gave out the rules of engagement for receiving / opening of presents..😂
The kids all sat and received their presents and then, they took turns and opened them 1 by 1 - whoa, organized madness! The kids scored BIG this year as Mom, Dad and both sets of grandparents continued to spoil the little boogers! Charlie surprised Brook with some gorgeous diamond earrings and Brook got all of Charlie's wish list, as usual! Brook had made a breakfast casserole that we all devoured in short order - as the kids played with their new toys!

We all cleaned up, went our separate ways to return later for The Christmas feast! Jalapeño poppers, Glazed ham on the Big Green Egg, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, broccoli casserole, rolls - OMG, it was all "to die for"! I cleaned my plate!

We came home and gave all our pups new toys and laughed while they romped and played! I remain humbled and extremely thankful for the countless blessings in my life.....
