We Made It!!!

The Great Adventure - May 2007 - is under way in grand fashion!
We arrived last Friday and have put major effort into relaxing! We
headed out Saturday to see my old friend "The Dragon" and the
upgrades on the engine were AWESOME! The extra power hammered
me through the curves and it was everything I had anticipated and
more! This stretch of road had done it again! It had totally freed
my spirit and I was part of this beautiful mountain once again!

Mothers Day Surprises!!!

Mothers Day weekend was full of wonderful surprises!

I had known for a month that Charlie was sneaking into town to surprise his Mom for her special day. I met him, Brook and Courtney for breakfast on Saturday morning at the Tahitian Ian Inn Café while Linda was at the beauty salon. Courtney called the salon and paid her Mom’s $200 hair-do bill for her 1^st surprise. Then when Linda got home, Brook came by to show her pictures of the wedding dress and while they were looking there was a knock at the door – Linda answered the door and got the big surprise – she would have her whole family here for Mothers Day as Charlie swooped her up in his arms! I don’t think her feet touched the ground all weekend! I took her to Barney’s and we got her a new full face helmet that she had been wanting!

Sunday found us all at Cracker Barrel for a breakfast and everybody in Pinellas County had the same idea! Linda and I rode the motorcycle and Courtney followed us with Charlie and Brook running about 20 minutes behind us. Then I got a surprise – Charlie asked me to be best man at his wedding. I hugged him and told him I could not possibly be honored more and furiously fought back the tears. Charlie could see what was happening and just held on and keep rubbing my back! So we have an EXCITING wedding to prepare for – Friday night, August 24^th on St Pete Beach!!!!

AWESOME WEEKEND!!!!! AWESOME MEMORIES!!!!

We're coming soon! VERY SOON!

For weeks now the mountains and my old friend the dragon
has beckoned me back for more thrills! We are just a few days
from heading in that direction! We will leave Thursday afternoon
and travel to the south side of Atlanta and rest at the Country
Inn and Suites...Friday morning will find us at the cabin by noon!
I can't wait - it's been a ball buster at work and a tile job from
hell. SO - getting out of here and hanging at our favorite place
is our main goal!

Hottie in Arkansas!

Linda took another trip back to Arkansas last month and
got totally spoiled once again! Helen Ann, Wanda, Wayne,
Tyler, Phillip, Aunt Jean and Mam-Maw all combined to
make our girl's heart soar again! They all go out of their
way to make her feel loved and very, very special!! Another
blessing for the memory banks and THANK GOD for these
very wonderful people!
